Matthew has over 20 years of marketing and digital experience working with brands from SKINS Compression clothing, Priory Hospitals Group and Ideal Standard International. As one of the founding directors of Quba he has been here since the beginning. In his spare time you’ll find Matthew riding his bike, playing squash or baking cakes.
Matt has over 20 years experience working in the digital sector, previously responsible for our creative work he has more recently moved into the marketing of Quba. Over the years Matt has worked with a wide range of brands including Channel 4, Land Rover and Cadburys. When his not working you will find spending time with young family or out and about with his camera.
Ben has been at Quba for over 10 years, and manages the development and test teams. Although his role is now more management focused, he has a passion for coding and enjoys taking a hands on approach. It’s important to stay up to date, and Ben is proud to be certified by both Microsoft and a number of CMS platforms. Outside of Quba, Ben spends most of his spare time with his young family and blasting out some solos on his treasured guitar.
Jenny is responsible for evolving our processes and project management services. Her knowledge of technology and marketing also makes her a great person for potential clients to talk to in the early stages of projects. In her previous roles at Quba client success stories powered by Jenny (and her dog Pippa!) included Amrita Nutrition, Stowe School and Texthelp.
Our Head of Search Chris has an SEO head on technical shoulders. Having worked as a developer in his first roles in digital Chris decided to make the switch to SEO almost 10 years ago. Since then he has slayed Google Penalties and helped improve ranking positions for some of our biggest clients including Westfield Health, Amrita Nutrition and CAPITA.
Gerard heads up our technical and business planning arm and is an important strategic voice in the business. His 30 years of experience in IT offers a wealth of systems knowledge and a pragmatic attitude when solving technical challenges. When he’s not managing amateur dramatics productions you’ll find him sitting in an arm chair enjoying a nice bottle of Barolo.
Performance Analyst Rebecca, works with clients who have a focus on lead generation and sales. She is Google Analytics qualified and uses the latest tracking software to ensure we know exactly how our clients websites are performing. When she’s not at work Rebecca likes nothing more than to take her young family to Carluccios for a nice pasta lunch.
Lead Designer Stuart has over 10 years experience in website design and user experience (UX) for high profile clients. He also like to get stuck in to front end development and his client experience at Quba includes London Luton Airport, Stowe School, Ideal Standard and Amrita Nutrition. Stuart is a keen runner, footballer, global traveller and all-round lover of a healthy lifestyle.
Greg joined the Quba management team as our Client Services Director in early 2018. He’s brought with him a wealth of experience having worked in Media and Creative agencies in London, Manchester and our very own Sheffield, with past clients ranging from Disney and Universal Pictures to Diageo and DFS. When he’s not taking care of our clients and marshalling the Account Management troops Greg is a film buff who loves world cinema, although with a young family he’s recently spent far more time watching Thomas The Tank Engine than French art house movies.
Anna is the longest serving Quban, having joined the company in 2004. Working on financials and HR Anna has masterminded the growth of Quba from a team of 5 when she first joined to 35. In 2016 she re-designed all of our financial systems to give us a better platform for growth. She is also our social secretary and keeps the Quba bar stocked.
Julia manages Quba website projects from concept through to launch and beyond. She has several years of experience delivering technology projects of varying sizes using both agile and non-agile approaches, having completed CSPO and CSM agile training. Before joining Quba in January 2018 her most recent project covered conversion optimisation and customer retention for a well-known national ecommerce site. She also enjoys cooking up a storm in the kitchen, family-time and watching films.
Luke has been involved in PR and search engine marketing for over 5 years. He has a track record of delivering successful campaigns based on his ability to sniff out compelling stories and turn them into creative ideas backed up by in-depth analysis. His client experience at Quba includes CAPITA, National Numbers and Fircroft Recruitment.
Pippa is the office retired greyhound and lives a life of luxury when she’s in the building. Sleeping all day, interspersed with greeting our clients and asking everyone for attention, she loves her Quba days. When she’s not snoozing in the office her favourite pastime is being on squirrel watch.
