A global rebrand for the UK’s largest private property group

Grosvenor Group is the UK’s largest private property group. It manages and invests in property in more than 60 cities around the world and has revenues of over $1.2 billion.
Quba were approached by Grosvenor Group as Kentico EMS experts to deliver a new corporate website that would support a global rebranding initiative.

Supporting a global rebrand

As one of the UK’s most prestigious property groups, with investments across the globe, the Grosvenor brand is a vital component in building confidence and trust within the property investment sector.
Following an ambitious rebranding exercise designed to coincide with the release of their yearly trading report, Quba were approached to relaunch the website against very tight deadlines, working closely with their creative agency to ensure alignment with the new brand design.

Working in collaboration

The focus of this project was on brand execution ensuring we projected the Grosvenor Group as a major player in the global property market while also feeling vibrant and contemporary.
We worked alongside Grosvenor’s branding partner Dragon Rouge to ensure that every nuance of the new brand design was carried through to the website, so there was continuity with the offline marketing activity.
Given the broad use of colour within the new branding colour palette we used leading accessibility tool Stark to validate that the designs met accessibility standards.

Using Kentico to create flexible page designs

A big challenge lay in executing the complex design features through the CMS, not just for launch but ongoing, as the team at Grosvenor would need to update content on a daily basis.
Kentico was perfect for this. We created a series of 40 unique custom widgets that could be used depending on how the stringent brand guidelines dictated.
Using flexible layouts instead of fixed templates and incorporating the drag-and-drop capabilities of Kentico we delivered a future proof CMS with freedom to shape and update content going forward in multiple ways.

Expert project management

The project had a challenging time frame to coincide with the launch of Grosvenor’s annual report.
Using our Quba production process we were able to streamline the delivery of the project implementing both agile and waterfall approaches. We used the project management tool Asana to ensure effective client communication, with regular progress reviews.
A big role within the project delivery lay in auditing the existing content and ensuring that it was edited in line with the parameters of the CMS, especially headlines and intro paragraphs.
