Toucan Diversity
Dispelling the myth that accessible design has to be ‘boring’ with Toucan Diversity.
Background
In short, Toucan Diversity offer ‘Disability Training, Delivered by Disabled People’. The organisation has gone from strength to strength over the years, with endorsement from a range of household brand names and a lengthy testimonial list from happy clients. Now, Toucan Diversity came to us having rebranded and looking to reposition themselves to better portray their offering and laser focus their messaging on their website.
The Challenge
With an entirely new brand book in place at Toucan Diversity, we needed to come up with a way to produce a new website that not only engaged a range of potential stakeholders and presented them with a clean, easy to use UX, but we also needed to account for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, working toward AA standard.
Solution
We have strong experience both in designing and delivering accessible websites for the public and private sector. Our history of working with government bodies, publicly listed businesses, CIC and charities helped with delivery of this project and meant that we could ensured complete compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA for the client’s new website.
We highly recommend the team who built our website and our LMS. It was a very impressive service from the pitch to getting our new website 'live'. They were very responsive and attentive to our needs and they have a large team to draw experience and skills from.
