The Award is designed to recognise a product or service establishing importance in the marketplace, profile raising, capturing the interest of the city and really putting Sheffield on the map.

We won the Award partly due to our investment in improving our internal processes and staff. This included over 15 developer certifications, three Project Management certifications and all non-technical staff received training from Decoded earlier in the year.

Quba have also been busy in the local community for example, we have liaised with Silverdale School and Sheffield Hallam University and have recently sponsored UX Sheffield.

We are also putting Sheffield on the map by working with companies outside of the Yorkshire region including Texthelp, Toys R Us, Stowe School & House and Ideal Standard.

We had a fantastic time at the awards ceremony on 3rd December and it was great to see so many local businesses being recognised for their hard work over the past year.

Quba's Managing Director, Matthew Williams, had this to say of the win:
"I'm absolutely delighted that Quba has won the Next Big Thing Award at this year's Sheffield Business Awards. This award reflects the hard work of the team over the past 12 months and is very well deserved."
