Medicare First Nursing report major increase in traffic and conversions

Quba’s digital marketing team are celebrating some fantastic results for one of our healthcare sector clients.

Quba’s digital marketing team are celebrating some fantastic results for a client this week. Medicare First Nursing are a nursing agency who specialise in placing top quality candidates at very short notice. Their business relies on a pool of expert nurses, so Quba planned their website and digital campaigns with a focus on increasing candidate registrations.

Dramatic traffic increase

In March the website delivered a 165% increase in overall traffic compared to the previous year. This has been largely due to a significant increase in organic search traffic since the new site went live.

Chris Ebbs, Head of SEO, said: “We’re very pleased with the results of the campaign so far. For me it’s a great demonstration of what can be achieved when SEO is involved from the outset of a website project. By considering site architecture and content strategy from the very beginning we’ve been able to deliver a really strong result for Medicare First Nursing.”

High quality links

The new website’s SEO performance is also due to some exceptionally high quality links that have been achieved using content marketing.

Quba’s Nursing Activity Calculator combines original survey research with interactive design to produce a content piece that is appealing to an audience of nurses but also newsworthy to major publications - such as the Nursing Standard, who have linked to the piece and featured it in their print edition.

User Experience focus

In addition to these increased traffic levels, the number of online enquiries has increased sixfold in the twelve months since Quba started working with Medicare First Nursing, and conversion rate has more than doubled. This is a result of detailed user journey planning and a content strategy built around the needs of the target audience.

Gemma Barnes, User Experience Designer, said: “We tried to really understand the needs of nurses, combining this with insights from the Medicare First Nursing recruitment team to help us design a user-centric website. Each stage of the design from sketches, to prototypes, to visuals considered the goals of the end user, and I’m really happy to see visitors having a positive experience.”

Medicare First Nursing have recently extended their contract with Quba thanks to these outstanding results.
