The project in a nutshell
Our relationship with ETOA has been highly collaborative ever since we started working with them in 2012.
We helped ETOA’s project team identify how technology could improve the service they deliver to their members. This resulted in three project deliverables:
- A brand new website
- Integrations with their CRM software and also their event management system to improve communications with members provide members
- An Appointment Management System enabling ETOA to match up suitable delegates and manage sessions at their popular conferences

A new web presence
A new website was the immediate goal as this was central to their communication plans with ETOA members.
The website generates enquiries for new memberships and is the main hub of ETOA’s busy events schedule. We made it easier for members to find useful information, book onto events and facilitated better member interaction through a new members area.
Ongoing improvements are essential. Each year we sit down with our contacts in their events, technical and marketing teams to review progress and agree what we want to do next.
Appointment Management System (AMS)
A major feature of the ETOA offering is the opportunity for members to network and meet with each other at conferences. We developed a system that enables delegates to say who they would like to meet with and then a routine matches them to appointments based on availability.
In complex conferences with multiple rooms the system recognises the location of delegates to ensure that we do not match people for appointments which are physically impossible to attend.
This system is the bedrock of ETOA’s business. It is supported, hosted and managed by Quba.
