Setting the scene
From the outset Door Deals needed more than just a website. Having moved into larger premises they were now in a position to fulfill more orders and wanted to make a step change in their business.
We proposed using the Kentico web platform which is capable of delivering advanced ecommerce tools as well as providing the foundations of a system that would manage the business. We extended the back office functions to provide real time stock management and back ordering and integrated with their logistics partners to remove all manual delivery processing.

At its heart a sophisticated product database enables customers to search by multiple product criteria and specifications such as door sizes - critical for such a diverse product range.
Related product feature recommends suitable door furniture and extras which have a greater profit margin. Continuous improvements to the checkout process has minimised basket drop out and maximised average order value through sales of complementary products.
Growing online revenue
With a new website and order management system in place we could concentrate on building traffic and sales. Using an Integrated search strategy we combined SEO and PPC to maximise keyword coverage, targeting highly competitive keywords whilst maintaining a low cost per visit.
Ongoing SEO consultancy steered Door Deals through Google’s algorithm updates, including Panda and Penguin. As certified Google Partners our PPC specialists have been early adopters of new AdWords technologies in order to increase PPC profitability.
