So 2009 is now nearly wrapped up and there are only 15 minutes left in the office before we break up to eat excessively and enjoy time with friends and family.

Some of my Quba highlights of 2009:

Quba gets social: Our research into social media marketing was published and went down a treat, with companies across the globe downloading the document. We're also one of the few digital marketing agencies to have a social media specialist, Rebecca Jesson, who is already getting stuck into advising our clients on their social marketing strategies.

Big search marketing results: The figures that our SEO wizards have generated for our clients have been phenomenal. A tenfold increase in search traffic. Done. Trebling a company's monthly turnover. Done. All of this during the longest recession in recent history.

Satisfaction guaranteed: Our customer satisfaction surveys were conducted this month and the results have been fantastic. Every one of our clients said they'd recommend us which is hugely encouraging. Obviously there are improvements to make but on the whole the feedback was very positive.

Investors in People: We received our re-accreditation to this high standard in November. Quba believes in its team of developers, designers, managers, marketers and supporters and this accreditation is testament to the hard work everyone is putting in to make Quba a great place to work.

Process and quality improvements: Although Nick is not one to "toot his own trumpet"; he and Gavin have been working hard on improving our processes and quality standards. The results so far have been great with projects being delivered on time to the highest of standards.

A big thanks must go out to our clients who have provided us with some great projects this year and we look forward to working with you over the next twelve months.
