The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be given full responsibility for leading key accounts and the strategy of increasing revenue of the DM division. You will need to understand client’s needs and translate these in into strategies that deliver to our client’s sales targets. You will be responsible for the client relationship and work to strengthen the relationship and develop new business opportunities within the account.

You will be responsible for overseeing the SEO team and required to train Search Managers and Search Specialists along with other members of the agency team. Furthermore you should be able to implement processes and systems that further develop the efficiency and profitability of the DM division.

Your DM experience should also extend to the use of PPC, Display advertising, Email and Social media. You should have a clear vision for application of social media and strategies that can be sold into our clients.

  • Lead Search Engine Optimization strategy and implementation
  • Develop Quba’s paid search strategy
  • Grow new and existing client revenue
  • Manage daily communication between the client and internal team
  • Provide regular reporting to the MD and Board
  • Overseeing the analysis of performance data
  • Contribute to blogs and whitepapers on search best practice
  • Monitor budgets and profitability of individual accounts
  • Maintain and develop project management processes
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the DM team on keyword research including onsite optimisation, cataloguing, indexing target keyword and link building
  • Work with development team to refine internal tools
  • Use analytics and trends to identify and execute news areas of growth
  • Create and maintain centralized SEO best practices documentation
  • Understanding the client marketplaces and industry developments.
  • Accurately forecasting and delivering against revenue and profit targets.
  • Maximizing the value clients receive from their existing investments and identifying growth opportunities.

Requirements
  • Educated to degree level with a preference for a marketing related BA or MA
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in all aspect of DM
  • Demonstrate experience in account directing within search engine marketing (SEO and / or PPC).
  • Be aware of developments in search technology and trends.
  • Have an understanding of technical disciplines in search marketing.
  • Extremely well organised
  • Be able to lead a team
  • A passion for search
