You can't judge a book by its cover. But you can certainly judge an e-commerce site by its sales. So when we helped sales rocket up by 180% it's fair to say we made quite an impression.

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Bookshops sell a huge range of books, magazines and contracts to the industry, students and the public. They came to Quba a number of years ago for our track record of delivering e-commerce sites that really work. They have not been disappointed.

Taking their existing online activity to the next natural stage of evolution, we created a site that not only worked well on a commercial level, but added intuitive details that added massively to the customer experience. Like a Quick Buy system that lets registered users buy in just three clicks. We also created a 'related items' function and intelligent product placement to feature relevant products at the right time.

With sales about to go through the roof, we developed a full back end administration system to control the 5000 strong product database, 2000 visits a day and 20,000 registered users. Well, we did feel kind of responsible.

We continue to work with RIBA to help them on their way to become one of the leading UK online book retailers.
