Infogroup/UK are the UK arm of Infogroup, one of the biggest marketing business data/business list providers in the US. They specialise in business-to-business and consumer sales lead generation tools (including business mailing lists, mail lists and other services) and turnover in excess of $1billion. They wanted to carry on this success in the sales-lead hungry UK market with a totally new and bespoke website that would convert visits to sales.
Starting completely from scratch the first thing we did was create a dedicated and experienced project team capable of delivering against a very tight deadline. They worked closely with the client in the UK and US to specify what was required in line with Infogroup/UK's business objectives and sales strategy.
A host of user-focused features were created to ensure all-important functionality scored highly amongst the target audience. Being able to quickly build a bespoke prospect mailing list was Key to this. We made sure the online process was easy to follow and then an instant online file output enabled customers to obtain their data as soon as the order is completed.
We also made the site client-friendly too, with a bespoke management system that linked to Infogroup's payment and financial systems, as well as detailed reporting facilities to provide up-to-the minute reporting of searches performed and orders placed.
To help drive new visitors to the site we also created an integrated email and online marketing campaign to boost awareness incorporating search engine optimisation, Pay Per Click and social networking initiatives. Within two months
Since going live in Beta in November 2008, the number of registrations and visitors to the new Infogroup/UK website is growing at an amazing rate day by day and the site is ranking in the top ten for most of the target keywords such as 'sales leads'.
