Improving sales enquiries


The business was almost 100% dependent on website sales enquiries. The penalty which hit them in 2015 signaled a huge drop in sales.
The penalty was caused by an outdated website with poor content and high volumes of low quality links. High PPC spend was needed to cover the shortfall hitting profit.

Creating high value inbound links


We ran a series of high value, interactive content marketing campaigns to gain coverage with a target audience of car enthusiasts and people who had an aspirational lifestyle.
The content had to generate interest from the editors of national press and well known car related websites so we could get referral traffic and valuable inbound links.
We used a formula to measure link quality based on domain authority ensuring all links achieved met the criteria we needed to significantly improve their link profile.

Website planning & design


A vastly improved website was essential to support technical SEO improvements and deliver a better customer experience.
Through planning workshops we analysed the complex nature of private number plate purchases and how the website could support the customer journey through to an enquiry.
We built a wireframe prototype to test with users prior to moving onto design.
