The UK's largest private property group Grosvenor Group is the property ownership arm of the Duke of Westminster, the UK’s largest private property group. It manages and invests in property in more than 60 cities around the world. It has revenues of over $1.2 billion (2017) and its history can be traced back over 1,000 years.

Business goals

The main goal for this project was delivery of a website that reflected the rebrand delivering a much-improved user interface and user experience. The design presented particularly complex challenges, so a CMS was required that would offer the design flexibility the client had requested. Furthermore, the website needed to be future proofed and meet the rigorous GDPR requirements.

Client brief

Grosvenor Group required an enterprise CMS capable of managing the needs of an organization with 60 locations across the globe. Quba implemented Kentico EMS for its robust content management features, its advanced marketing capabilities and its ability to run localised content. The CMS needed to be future proof and allow the content team the upmost flexibility to manage, add and order content with ease.

Project delivery

With a tight delivery deadline and a complex build this would prove to be a challenging project. The branding design proved particularly challenging, resulting in over 40 custom widgets necessary to deliver content managed pages that maintained the design integrity. Furthermore, there was a large amount of data that needed to be implemented on the website. This, along with lots of different design permutations presented the main challenges in the project.

Greg Mathews, Client services director at Quba says:

"I'm delighted for the team to have achieved this recognition for all the hard work on the Grosvenor.com site. The client was great to work with, the site looks fantastic, and it makes excellent use of Kentico’s widget-based approach to page creation.

Grosvenor have now signed on to our Quba Care service, so looking forward to supporting and developing the site over the coming months!"
