Setting the Scene
Healthcare cashplan provider Westfield Health engaged our SEO team to support them in the relaunch of their new website. With the website going live in the midst of early Google Penguin and Panda updates our brief was to help our client to optimise for target keywords whilst retaining a focus on new ethical SEO practices.
Part of our ongoing work with Westfield has involved achieving links to high quality content marketing pieces. We've also had our ear close to the ground on Google’s new Hummingbird ‘engine’ keeping a particular eye on opportunities to achieve new relevancy for our target terms.

Pre-launch consultancy on the new website focused on site architecture and content structure. In order for the health cash plan page to achieve maximum pagerank and authority we needed it to act as the main gateway to any supporting health cash plan content.
In order for this page to achieve maximum relevancy for “health cash plan(s)” search queries we researched what content a customer would need to see before they purchased. We worked with a UX specialist and the client’s marketing department to ensure that page design and copy addressed all of these areas, giving the strong thematic relevance that is rewarded by Google since the Hummingbird algorithm update.
