When global super brand Speedo asked us to take a look at a series of micro sites for some of their most innovative and important products, we didn’t waste any time and jumped straight in at the deep end.

Hitting the ground running is just the way we like it at Quba. From figure shaping swimwear to the latest in performance technology racing suits, Speedo looked to us to create a range of flash-based microsites that reinforced the brands credentials online.

For their Faskskin LZR Racer Elite range, we created a site that is every bit as forward thinking as the high performance swimwear. Sleek and modern, we made sure the microsite stayed true to the brand. It featured global superstar Michael Phelps, as well as some clever 3D techniques from our own programming stars.

We also developed Speedo’s Sculpture micro site to promote their innovative body shaping swimwear. The clean, airy and easy to use microsite featured celebrity videos, advice and plenty to inspire and flatter fuller figured women everywhere.

A key element of this microsite was the fitting guide. With 3 unique swimwear styles each tailored to different sizes we wanted to give the user the feeling they were buying something made to measure. Our simple step-by-step guide, with video guides, took the user through the four key measurements. The easy process and tailored suggestions gave the viewer the confidence to buy swimwear online.

The results were spectacular all round. Speedo has a site that fitted their audience, and the audience enjoyed a great experience with a website that felt very much made for them.
